HealthLumen are specialists in quantifying the burden of non-communicable diseases (NCDs) into the future.

Our platform, based on powerful microsimulation technology, enables us to simulate the health and economic impact of proposed interventions before real-world implementation. We provide actionable insights, and generate evidence, to support organisations in both the public and private sector with making key decisions in the lifecycle of a product or service, and supporting the case for policy change.

Our Purpose is to improve global health outcomes by creating data-driven insights for decision making.

Our Vision is to assist customers in making decisions that improve the futures of people living with NCDs worldwide.

Our platform has a long and well-established heritage, which our team spent over a decade developing as part of the UK Health Forum, before being acquired by HealthLumen in 2019.

The model has been developed for over 70 national and regional populations covering over 20 NCDs including obesity, type 2 diabetes, coronary heart disease, COPD, stroke, hypertension, cancer, liver disease, chronic kidney disease, asthma, and dementia.

Extensively published and validated it is a leading model for determining trends in NCDs and risk factors, enabling the planning of interventions from prevention, management, treatment and long term care.

Our approach aims to ensure we provide the most reliable and accurate insights, to help organisations make informed decisions to address the epidemic of NCDs and so improve health outcomes.
